Can i start a match with 6 subs?

Currently i only have 18 players in my squad. One of my players got double booked in cup and league match so he is unable to play in both of them for 1 match. Because i ve never experienced something like that yet..is it possible for me to start a match with only 6 subs? And hopefully it wont be a default lose for me then right..?

Yes, you're always forced to have a min' of 14 players in your squad.. A loss by default occur when you can't set 11 in the field due injuries or card suspensions.
