I played this 2 asso matches with hard attack ( as always , i never play defensive:) ) , message for beginners : never be afraid of stronger oppo,tankers...etc, just follow your ideas,tactics still matter in this game.

Guys i have a problem with my striker, help!! His position is st/aml and i give him a shadow strike sa. But when i put him in st position his sa dont show up when im playing, and when i put him in aml pos he got his sa worked well. So its like the sa shadow strike dont work on st pos or im just having bad luck? Btw he perform well in both postions too.

Is not your tactic, is the tactic that the game chose to work in X situation.
And is not the player you want, is the player that the game wants.
All is visual in TE, and the job of a manager is discover and test, and find what works.
Then, what if a team is set by default to work with Hard attack? and fail deeply with normal mentality?...
This creates a effect, these calibrations makes people think they have the key formation, or key orders or key of something, and then we've seen here in the forum loads of managers coming with a magical tactic, but, in the end, is not what they found, is what the game has set by default to work in a particular team.

If a player have the power to control al alone the match, it doesn't matter if he is a aml, a mc, or a st. Is a matter of power, If this gives you the dominance simply, the game will give you the control of matches without go for the right side.
Still you have some different options and thats good, if something dont work you can try the 2nd option just by switching players.
My team have a hardcore attack line with 2 st and 1 amr performance very well. They usually got 8. rating overall, sometimes 3 of my attackers got 9 or 10 p in the same match, like this season where I have 3 players in the top score and 2 in most assist. My defensive is good too, but I notice my dL is contributing more assists and goals far more than my dr so I put a lot of attack lessons in his hard training, so I build a ml with good def points and ass instead of buying an aml for exchange. It’s work for me so well till the last cl finals when I lost and miss my 3rd treble back to back...Quote:

Tactic matters, I have to agree with the OP here. It's just what works best is determined by computer code instead of football logic.
It's also hard to properly run tests because
There is a lack of elite competition in the league, champions League and cup. Associations has elite competition but an optics problem.

Regarding my association, we have a pretty good grasp on some of the relationships in the orders. Used it to finish last season slightly above 1800 points. As for loopholes, there are hundreds if not thousands of associations that are using loopholes.
A good tactical group w/o mutants can defeat a bad tactical group that has mutants, but a good tactical w/o mutants is very unlikely to defeat a good tactical group that has mutants.
They don't bother , the majority of them have mutant players, players that can change the match even with a bad tactic. With normal good team you need to find a good "chemistry" to let some players(usually the team best players) give their best , mutans are so powerful that they give their best beside the tactic you are using ( even if they had a bad day they still perform good )Quote:

When nordeus changed the training system, something else happened covertly behind the scenes which was not publicly announced. That thing was a mutant nerf. They're still better but not as OP as before, with the result being a balancing of this game.
3 weeks after the changes to the training we played the world #75. My association won 26-8. Two weeks after that big win, we played the world #91. My association won 21-12. The world #91 proceeded to lose the 3rd place match 14-20. Without a mutant nerf, no way that 26-8 occurs and no way the world #91 gets 4th place. We've witnessed one other viet mutant association get 4th place as well.
There is a balancing taking place in this game. One theory I've seen on the FB groups is that the mutant nerf is only in effect while the challenges are live. I don't know if that's the case or not, but I'm 99.9% sure that nordeus is working hard on balancing this game.

I 'm also friend with one of them and appreciate him as a very good manager as well.
I think all of them are good managers and without the mutants project they would have great success too.
But I 'm not speaking about this group, it;s more the new culture (as @IImaestroII mentioned) .
You see now, every ambitious platinum or top100 group is talking about team's quality and skills, not tactics.

Indeed some things have changed the last year.
- After the new team set up, tactics are not the same (the position in the box - back and forth), the behavior of the wingers, the blue and red arrows .
- The tweak in game mechanics so not to have large domination scores vs weak or illegal teams.
- The beatable margin (as Khis calls it) has increased.
Maybe in some games the skills of the players don't matter so to neutralize the mutants effect, but still I don't think a "normal" group can disqualify a "mutant" group.
Maybe now can win few points more.
