Nobody seems to be admitting that the players actually lose their stats. I spent money to get tokens to build up a team that will get reduced the next season after promotion. I do not mind losing the stars. Keep my stats so I can build my team in peace. No more buying tokens until I see my stats retained. And if it becomes impossible to compete then it's quitting time.
You do understand that every season you promote you loss 20% ?
So a 80% player at the end of a season will become 60% the start of the new season.

how do you expect to retain skill % the next season. that would mean you didn't lose 20% off each skill! that's like drinking a pint of beer and expecting the glass to remain full LOLOLOL
Mate, when a club dominates Championship and get promoted, you can't expect the team to be instant contender to win Premiership... Stats and stars remain the same only if you stay at the same level next season...

one of the best memory ever... And cheerin leeds in semis CL was a great memory too... Alan smith, kewell, dacourt, batty, ian harte, matteo, woodgate, nigel martyn, lee bowyer... Damn those were the good days...

ah no mate i totally misread the meaning after seeing your reply. apologies. my cousin is a big fan of LUFC which made them my 2nd fav team and that dates back to 1975 and i even remember the squad in those days. they were untouchable
