Yeah, I spoke to a dev earlier and he told me they wanted you to lose that :p
It happened to a few players that I saw in other posts. Maybe he tripped over running onto the pitch, or when the other guy came off he 'high fived' too hard and injured him :-)
Saw that happen in a league game last season. It was a hard fought game and he brought a sub on. Within seconds, the sub was injured and he had just used his last sub before that happened. To rub salt in the wound, I scored a 90th minute winner.
I had 2 matches in a row starting with a 3' injury on an MC, and another MC injured during a match. I only have 3 of them in my squad. Nice, eh?
Did you warm him up before sending him in?
