no, it's not 5 skill points, it's 5 quality points.
btw, another question
How many % skill points a player needs to increase exactly one whole star (20%) ?

okay i meant quality points only but didn't knew the right vocabulary.
20% quality is almost = 15 skill points i guess. so to gain 1 star(20%) you need 15*20=300% i guess. not sure though.
edit -
5 quality point = 20% quality = 1 star
1 quality point = 15 skill points
so 1 star = 15(skill points) * 5 (quality points) = total of 75 skill points
1 skill points = 4% attributes
hence, 1 star = 5 quality points = 5*15 skill points = 75 skill points * 4% attributes = 300 % attributes.
:)
And how many stars (minus) is my old academy player Galanopoulos ?
I 'm lv45

- 8 i guess?
At Level 45, 100% Quality = 245 absolute Quality, i.e., (245) quality. Thus (180) = 100% - 4% x 65 = -160%. So yeah, he is -7* or -8* depending on whether you consider -20% to -1% as 0* or -1*.
very good, very good
Tomorrow I 'll have another interesting (and difficult) question for you :o
thanks nik. its just because of all the different posts and guides in here.
Quiz
My reserves, TIGRAN, bought this player from Hajduk Split.
What ?!
But that's impossible.
1) Why is it impossible ?
2) If it is impossible, how I did that ?
Attachment 113298
Attachment 113300
* @Khris is friend with my team, so can find it very easy, so don't answer please :o
Impossible, because you cannot sign a player of more than 100%. The selling player played a lot of friendlies after the bid was made. This increased the player’s avq by 2%.
no, when I bought him was less than 100%.
He became 101% after some training.
The hint is somewhere else.
This should have been impossible because 'TIGRAN' is a level 1 team. It would appear that Correa was bought via negotiation, but negotiation is not available until level 3 or 4 (or 5, I can't remember exactly).
I have no idea how you did it though.
His quality is 25 and that means you are at level 1. you can't buy a player thru negotiations at this level.
Okay I didn't read GLFC's post.
I know how he did that.
But only older managers know that.
please if you could provide some hint on the second question......
By exploiting game bugs.
okay
so here's my guess - :p
you can buy the player through negotiation if the team from whom you are buying is you Facebook friend. :p
no, very cold :p
When did you start playing the game ?
Quote:
This feature stopped at June of 2016
so only managers from that period know about that.
:p :p
i started playing last year. i was extremely inconsistent with TE. i played for 2 months then didn't play it for next 3 months.
then i played TE in pattern (lol) - played for 1 to 1.5 months then didn't play for 1/2 months until this October. Now i am and will play very consistently.
the major reason for not playing TE or leaving it again and again was - i got drawn against OP opponents in Cup and sometimes in CL. wasn't a fair competition.
well i admit my answer was quite lame. :p
I guess this last question is not about the old transfer market, where you could sell your player directly to other players.
I still don’t have a clue how you can buy a player from another team at level 1. Or is this Hajduk Split just a visual?
If this feature was finished at june 2016 then I suppose he used an old version of the game???
no
If you are not an old manager, from 2016, you cannot find it.
There are no thread on this forum about before 2016.?
There are, there is a special thread about this subject, from an old member and friend, t11_fan.
But let's leave it. Maybe someone will answer later.
Another quiz now.
My player shoots an amazing curve free kick and scores.
Attachment 113434
Does he have a special ability ?
Which is his preferred foot ?
Yes, he has free kick special ability. Preferred foot is left or both.
@Hunter and others, keep posting about the free-kick.
Now I have another case that happened few minutes ago.
I had an offer for my player Stam.
It was a 0 tokens :p so I reject it - not that I would sell him anyway.
Then I put Stam and few other players who had 99% condition in a set (the classic one I use for gaining the 4X10% bonus, with the six easy-very easy drills).
After that, I got a message that my player Stam earned his 7th star.
But Stam didn't gain any skill from that training.
So how he became 7* ?

Very good question, Nick! I see this too very often and I keep wondering how it’s possible. I’m curious about the answer.
I used to explain this by fractions of skill points. A player can gain less than 1% for a particular skill. I that case you don’t see it, but when the skill increased from - let’s say - 98,8% to 99,1%, the visual effect is a gain from 98% to 99%. This may result in a shift from 99% to 100% overall and an increase of a star.
At the start of the season I counted the visual skill increments of my players while power training them. The sum of the % from the training results was exactly the same as the incerement of the player’s skills on the long term. So it seems there is no such thing as skill gain not being shown from training results. Therefore, my answer seems to be incorrect.
Me too same feeling Stam gained a star he earned a litle improvement (invisible for us) just because he went for example from 99.4% to 99.6% so the system round him to 100%
That was a tough question nik.
I 'll give a try.
In post 42, @Hunter answered correct that a player needs 300% skills to raise q one star.
One star is 5 quality points. 25-30-35...240-245-250.
So 300% skills from training are giving 5 quality points (q.p.)
So 1% skill gives 0,016 q.p.
But I think we have to multiplay that X3 because there are 3 categories (Def.-Att.-PM) , so it's 0,5 qp.
But if Stam didn't earn a skill pont in this last training, then he couldn't get more than a 0,5 qp and shouldn't increase his quality for the next star.
Don't know :p
So we have 2 and 1/2 unanswered questions so far
Today with my reserves, I played (and won for 2nd time :o) this guy.
His player Powell, had a yellow card and later a straight red.
But in our previous game he had another yellow card
So, how many games will he totally loose ?
Attachment 113604
He won't miss any game as he's out of the cup lol
3 games.
The straight red is two games out.
I don't know if the double yellow penalty is added but I think not.
