How on earth do you get a 442 to work?

Stikers suck in this game, playing with 2 of them gives me headache, at least change one for an AMC and go for a 4411 if you don't want to do 4231.

Apparently not with long ball.

Today won the league using 442 for nearly every match.

One striker, granted with 7 stars at the end of the season, 25 goals in 23 games. The second striker with 22 in 37.

Struggled and lost some of the early games with various 442 orders until an unusual switch to long ball. Normal mentality, mixed pass, no counter attack. Pretty much the opposite of how I'd been using it.
