Stuck with same token buyers every season

Hi all

This is my first post on here, am only lvl 3 at the moment, but so far have had the same token buyer in all my leagues he has won the league the last 2 seasons and is 10 points clear this season, I have come second but with no chance of winning, so was wondering if there was a way I could get away from him next season?

He's in your server, the table changes every season so it's just chance. I understand you must be frustrated, if I were you I would only use tokens to keep a balanced squad and keep some for when you're not in his league. Maybe you would feel better when you have a fair table and you have lots of tokens, maybe enough for a scout player of your own

P.S I always get scouters in Cups, it's really annoying.

as above also do you have said team on your friends list ? if you do then you get them every/every other season, if they are on friends list then you can un-friend them to try and avoid ?

I can't believe I over-looked that one, good point, spornybol. Friends on the same server often get put in your cups or league sometimes.

Tank the season and save up for next season. That way he will always be a level above you and out of your hair. Its good for you since you will kick ass next season as your players keep their stars.

Just put your worst side out. Play an illegal position. Bribe the refs for the other team to win. Just do everything you can so you come in 8th-14th place and you will not have to worry about Token Tommy again.

One or the other, cant have both. Does he want to be in the same league AGAIN or does he want 100% to be in different league?

I am in the same position as the OP but I don't think I can tank enough to drop to 8th. Please see standings below. Any advice would be greatly apreciated.

I am in third, division two. Pretty obvious who bought the two token teams in this league - please help, I need out

Or get your best player to bite another player from the opposition and he will get banned for 10 games and you are definitively going t stay in the same division! Seriously now, the best thing would be to tank your season and then just continue without the token buyers always beating you up! Good luck!
