If he is faring well in his league I will accept his Friend request and keep returning the favour and go all out supporting his opponent, no matter if its CL or Cup or league.
I had a guy who kept having friendly with my team, I would remove him immediately and again next day he would send the request. I started supporting his opponent and one fine day I saw him supporting me in 2 games (Now.... it might not work on all people btw...but will send him a message) :p
