Attacking SP for defenders

There are many threads on here, discussing whether its worth adding SP to the "attack" category, for defenders. Well maybe this might help some people decide.

I have a DL/DC with the corner specialist SA. Up until this season, I've usually added any SP to his defence / physical. However, he only ever had average games and very rarely got a mention. This season, I've just been adding the SP to his attack category, and he has improved out of all proportion. Look at his game stats, for this current season.

Matches played = 32
Goals scored = 2
Assists = 17
M.o.M awards = 5

So sometimes it is good to add points to their "wrong" category.

yeah..A good player should have all kinds skills.. :)

I dont know if this is a bad thing, because I see many times one of my DC/DR/DL with the the THIS IS INTERESTING...HE COULD GO ALL THE WAY things....it is rare, but it happens

Funnily enough, my back up DC has the Corner Specialist SA and despite his lack of games, usually ends up getting 8's in most of them.

Seems to me that 9/10 times the player passes it anyway
