Can someone give me a possible explanation on this?

I refreshed my auction and found a 27yo ST with 1v1 at 38 quality which is 5* almost scout.
I look at who is in the auction and come across these.....guys.

I find it strange when a person has jack **** for a squad yet has a stadium built up quite nice and the surrounding buildings need to be upgraded to get that stadium, so they must have either had tokens and used them, because i constantly build and am not at their level yet, or they are 'ghost' accounts.

They are both currently bottom of their leagues. They both have trophies of bad league places.

Considering what they are bidding on, they dont win often and will most likely drive up the token price.
I hate bidders like this.

The next question is this: do i enter the bidding because he would be a great addition and the 2nd best ST for me. I hate auctions like this because for this quality to come is very rare and its going to bring a token fest. I guess 35 tokens will win it if I enter, 7 tokens if I dont enter.

Two weeks ago a team bought my 3 star player into his all 2 star's team and put him on the bench

Hahaha! Your last comment tickled me, I always see that happen - I think 'the bidding will go high for this player' so I stay out and then he goes in round 2. Another time 'yep, I'll get him cheap' and it goes for 10-15 rounds or more

I think these idiots save their tokens for one good player and waste them every time - I see it often. Even against teams with amazing stadiums, facilities, first team and reserves I can often win after 10 rounds in an auction. Because I'm on a good TM it seems these players think 'oh well, I'll get the next one'

Then there's the prat who gets online once a week and bids all his tokens on the one decent player on the list

I say, if he's a player you really want, go for it

That the problem. I went for this almost exact same player last week and ended up giving up after round 49 and $14M for a player worth $3M. I bought a scout instead, was cheaper in the long run. I can see the same damn thing happening over again.

I have seen alot of bidders like this with poop 1/2/3 star teams but at level 4 or 5 (I'm only level 4) and with like 20million to spend on players they bid and bid and bid.......wasted alot of hard earned tokens on trying to replace players bidding against these "ghost" accounts, they always seem to be from Thailand/China etc

I totally agree.

HA! there is a god after all.

I thought why not, but I wont go over 20 tokens since I would pay that in negotiations for a player like this.

OK, so SOMEONE please explain this to me:

1) The guy who apparently put this guy on the auction list had my new player as his BEST player.
2) the guy is one level below me and I get a guy that is almost scout.
3) the guy has great team for level 3, cant figure out why he had to sell unless he was forced to sell after 7 days to make up a deficit.
4) if he was forced to sell, he only got $1.96M and he now has $2.08M, so he must have played a game if this happened, or sold another player?
5) I just realized that the news tidbit says a specific person and the link is to the person in the pic I have provided. What the hell?

Why the hell would he do this unless he was forced to? I am NOT complaining since I got a good deal, but hey, I just want to know.

Thats a sound buy if you ask me (as a relative non token buyer) hell still be 5 stars next season. I bought 4 roughly the same last week. Ill prob buy more of the same on the last day of the season. Success can be achieved with a 22 man squad of 4/5* players easily imo!

Simply, No! :D

But once again, it depends and we all have our own taste, preferences and criteria. If you find he is "good" then it´s fine, but I wouldn't have bought him.

It was either him(38Q) or a scout(43Q). 4 tokens and $2M instead of 50 tokens and $3M. Simple logic. I cant believe you deny the obvious good upgrade.

That's the difference between people who don't have a huge amount of tokens or cash and look for bargains, and people who have a huge amount of tokens and cash and look to buy 19-21 year olds at the start of a season and PT up to 8*

Cracicot i think we start to wonder and we start to ask many question about this game (fails/boots/schedule match) , this will not end wonderful for sure ...

I don't know about you guys, but I've been having great luck on buying 18-21 year olds on the market for not so many tokens. I got 19 players and my average is 22.5. :p

Yes, Its like getting an amazing deal on a used VW but the rich person cant see the deal because he only buys Ferraris and BMWs.

Yes but after looking at it after my post, I noticed that it is not even the same person I got it from.

So either the link was incorrect (possible, but highly unlikely since this has been happening many, many times) or this is a dodgy, strange situation (yes, conspiracy talk! I know you love it!)

No moderators or administrators have confronted me yet.

You should be glad you can do market. On my server at level 4 we still got Q30 as best available on TL, while i cant sell my Q <45 untill next season, and cant sell my Q>45 at all since no lv 6 on here.

Not that strange. The team name, stadium name and fans name all looks the same to me. Sure the player name is different, but I think you're just getting confused by the arabic text

Just a good excuse to kick up another conspiracy theory ;-)

Good call. And this is why I ask these things. I never noticed that in the news, they say "buying team name has completed the signing of selling team name, position and player name, for $$$".

Without reading it properly it looked like the players name and not the team name, hence the confusion. Thanks for pointing that out.

Dammit, now I need to find another conspiracy!:mad: (Shouldnt be too hard!)
