Personal trainer is about a 1000 tokens per player so we can rule that out.
Taking a high 5* to 8* with a SA and maybe another position is about 400 Greens per player? Add on the cost of buying each one, probably around 30 or 40 tokens each going on the market!!!
Ah well, Nordeus must be loving him!

With this current state, its not necessary to tune it up to 8* ... mine is 7* and is more than enough, I bought my team last month for a year

No, i watched him from the first day. he bought 18 yo without SA, trained the SA for each one, multiple positions cause most of them had only 1 position and then boost them to 8*... i guess 9* is the goal ) and he didn't used the trainer... strikers has 250% on attack and defenders 250% on defence. i can't even imagine how many green packs do you need to boost 11 players to 8 stars... 10k?

for 11 players you needed roughly 8K .last season, this season they change it again, you would need about 10K
