Emre FC drew 1-1 earlier so it was just a matter of us winning to put us 8 points clear and we did it in style. A score which ended in double figures for the 1st time this season. Yet another hat trick for Petersen today and he has scored 8 in one day which is an incredible achievement. He got his first from a free kick making it 1-0 early in the game. 5 minutes later we got a second through Nascimento. We were running riot and Petersen added a goal from Pistov's pass following the counter. Our opponents looked tired and couldn't cope with our attackers and a free kick brought a save from Elijah FC's goalkeeper and the corner resulting in a goal for Van der Zande. Two quick goals from Hardy and Petersen from long range strikes gave us a 6-0 lead at half time and a hat trick for Petersen. We most certainly did quieten down in the 2nd half but Pistov did get his goal from a 1 vs 1 position. Poncet set up Silly for 8-0 and those 2 are being quiet a decent partnership in centre midfield lately. Suarez scored as a substitute, making it 9-0 following a corner. Petersen got injured but a last minute goal from Warmwater gave us our biggest win of the season and we go 8 points clear.

Goals: Petersen (9', 28', 43' HAT), Nascimento (14'), Van der Zande (32'), Hardy (41'), Pistov (48'), Silly (59'), Suarez (75'), Warmwater (89')

Whats this??? Emre FC actually didn't win... looks like their luck has run out after all... Only one small matter left in your league this season... 26-0-0 or unbeaten. Petersen injured? More reds to go... :mad:

Champions League results are all in now and Sami FC have also been knocked out after a 3-2 win (3-4 agg), a bit too much for them to do after veritas grabbed 2 away goals in the 1st half, and our opponents are Equimetal SAD who won 4-1 tonight after being a goal down and needed to score at least twice to qualify, they were the group of death winners and we have the home leg against them first, they are a 'former scout team' 5*/6* and ALL off their players have SA and there is a few fake 'real name' players in there too. This will undoubtably be a tough tie for us as their overall quality is about the same as FC Seti. A good win at home with a clean sheet (like 2-0 or 3-0) will be very handy for us to take into the second leg if we can, we wouldn't want a 0-0 draw like we got at the same stage this time last season when we played ST.KOOZ United.

FC Kneipenkick update:
Since another 5 match days are over here is a new FCK update. In the league everything runs fine. With Merkurial and Real Rabby we have already beaten 2 top sides twice and extended our lead:

In the CL round of 16 we had some problems in the first leg at Maliqi FC and won very close 2-1. The whole club went very nervous into the returning leg, but Maliqis tactics (4-1-3-2) suited us today very well and FC Kneipenkick won 4-0 with good old 4-4-2.

Thats why I said 4/1 to win the competition was such a bad price when the 3 teams around Clastresmorcourt were only a few points below them. At least this time they got out the group stage... Maybe we should invite the Clastresmorcourt manager to the forum so he could learn some tips on how to invest his tokens better?
