OK... What would normally traditionally be daily maintenance for the new season now is running as a background maintenance.
League tables, Player stats and CL/CUP stats are still there and the transfer market is blank. So it looks like the game will kick you off when its ready for the new season and will ask you to refresh your game. OR will there be a 'mini' maintenance while we wait for the new season?

can anyone enlighten me on when the first cup game will be? Not the exact timing as that one is impossible, but will it be on the season X: Day1/28 or Day 2/28?

Season 2: League: Winner (Undefeated) Cup: Eliminated in Quarter Final. CL: Winner
Season 1: League 2nd place (played last 12 games, up from 8th). Cup prelims (before taking over) CL n/a
It will be Day 1. basically you will have a cup fixture on your fixture list for today once the new season is generated.
