Contracts

I'm sure this has been asked several thousand times, but if I allow a players contract to "expire", do I still have time for next season to sign them back?

Thanks buddy! That's what I thought, but just wanted to make sure before I signed someone to 3 years, only for it to become 2 years in a few hours :)
