This happened to me at the beginning of last season.

It doesn't matter you bid on 11 or on 1. Yesterday i won 2 players and it said wait. After that i lost. Because of time delay ofc.

bidding one sec before the it's not good because sometimes your clock is not synchronized and it's already late.
The other reason is that it adds 10 more seconds in that auction and in that time another manager decides to bid.
That was a risky trick we used at old auctions but it's not good anymore.
