Years ago there were a LOT of token buyers from East Asia, some said they were cheating, but whatever reason it made this game unplayable for a 35T team sometimes as they were always so strong.

That's true. They weren't token buyers, only vpn users who were farming many daily tokens.
But now there isn't tokens farming except providers offers.
From which country is he ?

Think he's French, I just took it he buys 1000 tokens a month.
I don't want to tank again just to avoid him, will see what happens next season though........I may have to if he pops up again

He does this every season, And also spends hundreds of greens in the first few days to move all these players up 5-10% on top of their Scout level.
I don't bother/believe in 'troll' results, losing is just part of playing, but when you have no chance of winning before you've even signed a player on the first day, that's what puts me off this game.

You don't believe in "trolling" but have an issue with someone paying to win. Funny!

I don't know how long you've been playing, no more than 15 seasons I guess, but if you suddenly had a run of 5 seasons with absolutely no chance of winning in the CL and Cup because a token buyer always won them then it does make you wonder what the point is!
I'm glad the days of multiple 9* teams are gone, think this is just bringing back bad memories, even though his team is nothing like as strong as these were.
Like I say, fingers crossed this is just a blip in the server that he's back in my CL level

ANNNNND he's back!!!!
Wish I'd never mentioned this guy
.Avoided him for 5 seasons by tanking and he pops up again in my CL after me talking about him on here!!!!
Al these top players were bought on Sunday.

I 'm not saying it's easy but it's achievable.
I 've won it half of my active seasons (28 of 56) and many other times I was close.
Every season in the starting season thread, I upload my club review (including my asso group where you can see it).
I also explain how I do that in Tutorials and two team-show cases I have.
All you need is to read a lot, be active, focus on target and little lucky (or could say not unlucky )

Lucky you I have won only 1 treble that was only the league, SL and the Cup. Nothing too special.
