This is my first team and one sub, just won the treble, and all built on Greens, every player bought was a maximum of 7 tokens, most a lot less

Ive won trophies and leagues in the past (look at my signature) its just the past few seasons I've got 2nd in league by 1-3 pts just because I didn't buy my squad like the team that beat me did or I would lose a semi final or final because the same reason. Playing cup matches on dsy 1 against teams rated 81%? Like cmon lol

Believe me, investing money doesn't get you more trophies unless you invest a huge amount, like 100$ a month to be the best of your level. Even then you'll face tankers in low levels.

Went through similar frustrations before and just wanted to make it easy for myself. Luckily all those surveys that had to be completed in order to gain tokens stopped me and saved my integrity. With such limited resources all the time, I thought all those dudes who were loaded with 7+ star players were buying/hacking stuff. Because in my condition, with no money, no associations at that time and even video offers being almost non-existent, a 6 star player is a sight to behold. The one treble I somehow pulled off nearly drained all of my packs. This intense training however is something that could be manageable in a few seasons though. A topic I will open soon.

No need to open a new thread on it. I think all the 'older' players here rely solely on Greens as the means of winning.

on the other hand, I'm thankful for their bankrolling the game, needs real money to keep a good game running

I think the same thing, but I was more interested in knowing some details, like how many greens are approximately spent for let's say, improving a younger player by 20%/one star.

I have started stashing greens and will just do normal amount of training for now to level up the training level and improve the effects of the drills. Once everything is in place, I will give the intense training a shot.
