I just started my level 33 league and I've found a level 33 manager whose team was founded just a few days ago and has only played 7 matches.









It looks like he's managed to start a brand new team without dropping back to level 1...

This is a bot team, a fake team of nordeus, not a human manager.
Just to complete the competition.

I thought that if there weren't enough managers to make up a competition then some of the clubs that should have been promoted to level 34 would be kept in level 33? Or that some of the clubs that didn't get promoted from level 32 would be promoted to level 33, so that everything balanced out.

Your suggestion indeed will be easiest to implement, but then expect there are some 50-100 anger-venting posts every season.

However, just think about those several 9th-position teams in level 32 who was expecting to stay in the same division and did their best preparations and bought several 90%+ players by end of previous season with some 30T or more to prepare for their next one, and then suddenly got promoted to level 33 against their game knowledge and will, and the promotion has left his bought players useless (would have bought in the new season if he/she was told clearly they would get promoted).

And it’s even worse to not promote those level 33 teams to level 34 if the league rules state clearly top 8 teams are promoted when they would have decided to keep some of the players instead of selling them if they knew they would be staying in the same division.

Of course the admins can excuse all of the above with the ‘exceptions’ that the game has the final rule about fair play or what not. But it is more than likely those players who suffered from the above will be rightly aggrieved and decide they may not invest in the game anymore or even quit when emotions were running high when they feel the injustice of ‘why only me?’ among some tens of thousands managers or more.

Actually on my server 4 years ago, that was the case... sometimes even nr.10 got promoted... bug this way is more fair... God forbid tankers should risk something

There has to be 14 teams in a league, so it is more than likely the total number of active managers of any certain level to be the multiple of 14 exactly. Adding several bots to complete the last 14 is needed.

If I were you, I would be thrilled to have such a bot later in higher levels, as that would equate to 2 excellent goal-difference gaining matches.

Well I'm quite opposite on that as I always strive to be in top league on my level (73) so only in cup games, from time to time I get paired against bot in first game of Cup tournament... To be best you must play against best teams
