Who`s your team and why

O`K not to do with T11 it self or to do with team name unless like me. My team was Martin F.C but changed to F.C Liverpool but this is a footballing question and would be interested which team you actually support and why, the reason asking and interested is i was the same Question on Facebook so here`s my story.

Back in the day in the U.K football used to be on BBC1 on a Friday night and the first game i watched was Liverpool V Newcastle Utd so i thought as my dad is a Newcastle supporter i`d support other team no matter what ( could have been any team ) and they Liverpool won 4-0 ever since then that day i`v supported Liverpool, geeze that`s 32 years now and lot of free beers since as we have a pint on who wins :) wish it was a pint a goal two weeks back after we won 6-0 :)

Southampton Fc, my father was a steward at the DELL many years ago,he took my brother and i to work one day,both 5yrs old,stood us on an old milk crate at the front,(oh how times have changed). I became a season ticket holder around 2001 when Saints moved to St Mary's and have hardly missed a game home or away in the passed twelve years, Up The Saints

My dad took me to my first ever professional game in May 1967. It was West Ham (with Moore, Hurst & Peters), verses Man Utd (Charlton, Best Law). West Ham lost 1-6, and I have supported them ever since. I used to go regularly, and had a season ticket for 17 years. But when the Premiership was formed, and the prices rocketed, I stopped going on principal. I still follow the team, but refuse to pay the ridiculous prices that they (and all the others), now charge.

Man United, History, tradition, culture and brand of football played, also Bryan Robson was my Idol when I was a kid!

St mirren fc (scottish premier league team for those that dont know) ive been going to games since i can remember, dads team, home town team. Helps that the new stadiums a 5 min walk from the house.

Seen us do reasonably well considering how small a club we are.Weve won the renfrewshire cup like 10 years in a row, challenge cup, scotish cup in 87 (i was 4), 2 promotions for the first division and this year we won the league cup, I wouldnt change my team if you paid me too :D Come on ye saints!

I support Milan since I played FIFA 2005 demo where the only teams were Arsenal and Milan :)

First ever big match that I can clearly remember was the '99 CL final between Bayern and Manchester United. Back then Bulgaria (my country) had already lost it's reputation earned at the '94 World Cup, but Germany had been our biggest rival since, so I never really liked German teams and after that "Fergie time" win there was no way I would stop supporting United. All of the club's history, fame, emotion and success in the years since only made it more fun and prooved that I couldn't have made a better choice. :)

RL football sucks, except CL quarterfinals+, EURO and World Cup!^^

Arsenal, I was a Bergkamp fan so when he moved from Inter I stopped being an Inter fan and became an Arsenal fan and stayed ever since..

Manchester United. Born and bred Salford lad here, had Manchester United hammered into me since I can remember, grew up being taken to every home game possible.

Born and bred red devil.

I'm not a fan of a club, but a huge fan of the national team from my country.

Maccabi Haifa is an Israeli team, managed to qualify to the champions league 2 times. the first match my dad took me when I was like 4, but when I was 8 he took me to the Israeli cup final and I started watching more football, went to every match (home & away) between the ages 12-18 but then I joined the army for 3 years so I couldn't go but I still watch every match and go whenever I have time.

It was the first time I ever saw football as a person and possibly one of my earliest memories as a person. I was only 4 years old.

I`m never ashamed to admit,i cried that night at 18 and my best mate was Arsenal even though i wanted to belt 9 bells out off him with bragging and winning they won and i`m still peeved as we as losing along with 1988 F.A cup final :(

I think I was 12 and remember thinking right the two title contenders, playing each other in the final match of the season, now that's convenient!

MAN UTD .. at age of 7 in 1978 .. taken away by the sad story of Munich crash , and how we come back even stronger from that .. even at that age, i knew it had to be a special club to do so .. Rising as a Phoenix from the Ashes
