    When to start signing new players in the new season

    Hi all,

    Probably a basic question, but the league starts on Day 3 of the season. I was wondering if I should sign players after this so that my team overall is low going into the league which will increase my chances of matching with lower teams. Or is the league opponents automated at this point already?

    Btw thanks for your help everyone, won the quadruple last season =]

    The league is already set on Day 1, so you can start buying guys.

    This is up to you to be honest, no one can answer this question properly as everybody is doing it differently.

    The players are still ridiculously expensive at half way of the season, so it is useless to wait. I start looking for new players right from the day 1. I may not buy them all in day 1, because most of the time it takes a looong time to find what you want. The goal is to have my team ready before the first league match. After that I can lean back and watch the quadruple to come to home.

    Now I doubt this theory. I have got such a tough League Draw.

    No abandoned team and every team is good.
