I don't think you should keep him for assists, you'd get a lot more goals if you had him going for goal. A midfielder or whoever he assists isn't better than him at shooting and the striker isn't better at assisting. If you're getting that many goals already then wow you would have a much better team if you altered it so the midfielder is passing and striker is shooting
