Question Negotiation for player, HOW can they bid have rules changed

I`v received a bid for one my player`s and his rating is 62 - 6* so higher for level i`m at as he`s a scout but what i`m confused about is i thought only way`s were

    1 - player is 2/3 skill point`s away from moving up star ( he`s not )

2 - bidder is on friends list and same server and similar level ( he`s not on friends list )

3 - player is in same comp, ie league/cup/champions league ( i`v checked their not )

so could someone explain how ?

on another note with the bid, the offer is £900,000 less than value and no tokens offered ( i know i can set price ) it`s a shame i can`t send a reply with me laughing and sticking two fingers up at offer

    1. No, any player can be negotiated for (as an example, the manager may have seen a different player of yours on the negotiation list, looked at your squad, saw an interest in a player and made an offer).

    2. The manager making an offer does not need to be on your friends list.

    3. Not at all. I think so long as they are around a similar level, on the same server and happen to find your team, it shouldn't matter.

For the other note bit, as a way to make them sweat, you could just let the timer run out, as they lose their tokens for the 24 hours.

    yep

1 - will have player on scout list

    2- got it

3 - was same Q2 bidder is level above and i had them in league last season

as for note - if bidder don`t offer tokens then i`l make them wait, if they do depending how much i`l reject, i respect token offer`s as they want player

They have to be 1-2 Quality away from next star, not skill points away from next star. I get offers for my 38Q and 39Q.

Not entirely true. 5* is the max you can negotiate for I do believe.

I usually look at their team and make an offer of 0 tokens, just to make a point.

Yeah, my mistake. Should have mentioned 5* to your relative level.
