The last two seasons with the 60% buyback thing didn't do any good to me. I already spent my tokens by then. It sucks

It's a trap. It says upto 60 percent off not 60 percent off. Managers often extend their token budget due to this offer which results in bidding war.

And if after winning the bidding you only get 10 percent off then your token budget for the season is destroyed.
