The treatment of player morale is absurd

After winning the champions last season, a couple of players got extra morale, but the rest dropped one level. Does it make any sense? The next day, I won the supercup; everyone drops their morale. Should I understand that no one liked to win that shabby title, and would have preferred to lose?
This case is the last straw, of course. Every day we see this absurd morale treatment on the game. I won leagues winning all matches and being the first throughout the whole league, but every day after trash my rival the morale of my whole players decreased. I suppose that in the morale of my players other factors must be taken into account, such as climate change, deforestation or sexual dissatisfaction, but maybe it's just the eagerness of Nordeus to make us spend morale bonuses to make us enter euros buying blue bonuses...
