Why does my next (much stronger) opponent have a GK in ST position and vice-verse?

Is this some weird mind game?

I think they're basically trolling you, knowing they will probably beat you comprehensively anyway.
My advice... park the bus. Today and yesterday I beat teams much stronger than me by parking the bus (both were away games too).

Formation:

------------AMC
ML--MC--MC--MC--MR
------------DMC
DL------------------------DR
-------DC--DC-DC
-------------GK

I had counter-attacks OFF.
I had offside trap OFF (because I didn't want to invite their attackers into my defensive area).
I played with DEFENSIVE mentality.
I played through the middle with SHORT passes (to keep possession).
I made sure I watched the game so that I could click on the Defensive bonus every 20 minutes.

If he's not tanking then he's playing a mind game or he has somebody in friendly championship to give his 3 points to
