New Special Abilities?

Hello guys,

yesterday I won my third Super League and so tonight I will play the Super Cup final. Studying the formation of my opponent, winner of the Champions League, I noticed that two of his players have Special Abilities that I've never seen before: Intercepting specialist and Versatile attacker. Are they new? Is it possible to train them for my players, or get them in other ways?

These two special abilities are relatively new, the Versatile Attacker special ability came out last season I believe and the Intercepting specialist special ability came out this season.

I don’t think it’s possible to get the Versatile Attacker special ability onto your players anymore.

You still can get the intercepting specialist special ability this season by unlocking the premium special sponsor (which is done by buying the premium pass) and then completing all the objectives up until you unlock the new special ability, you can then select which player gets the new special ability should you get that far.

This is also how your opponent got the Versatile Attacker special ability by doing the same thing in a past special sponsor event.
