Hello guys,
yesterday I won my third Super League and so tonight I will play the Super Cup final. Studying the formation of my opponent, winner of the Champions League, I noticed that two of his players have Special Abilities that I've never seen before: Intercepting specialist and Versatile attacker. Are they new? Is it possible to train them for my players, or get them in other ways?

These two special abilities are relatively new, the Versatile Attacker special ability came out last season I believe and the Intercepting specialist special ability came out this season.Originally Posted by ilos90

You still can get the intercepting specialist special ability this season by unlocking the premium special sponsor (which is done by buying the premium pass) and then completing all the objectives up until you unlock the new special ability, you can then select which player gets the new special ability should you get that far.
This is also how your opponent got the Versatile Attacker special ability by doing the same thing in a past special sponsor event.

How useful are these abilities compared to the standard ones? And what positions are they best suited on?
They are not so new anymore and they are not the only ones. You also have the BLOCKER for defenders, SETPIECE STOPPER for goalkeepers, SETPIECE SPECIALIST for attackers. Every season, the special sponsor has one of them for the players that unlock the premium.
Yes, but I would like to know if they're worth the investment compared to other abilities, or not? I need some feedback from players that have been using the abilities
Not really in my opinion. I have only used the versatile attacker and intercepting specialist so far. Now I have another new DC with the SA from last season's sponsor, blocker or what it is called.
The set piece specialist seems the only worthy one. I know a few friends using it and their players doing really well for free kicks and corners.
Intercepting specialist: Defensive wall + Aerial defender
Versatile attacker: Shadow striker + 1on1 finisher
Set piece taker: FK specialist + Corner specialist + Penalty
Set piece stopper: 1on1 stopper + PK stopper
Blocker: Unknown or not working.
If you have already payed to unlock the premium sponsor and you get to that level and get them, then use them. But paying tokens only to get to that level and get these SAs, l think that it doesn't worth it.
