[Official] Important Announcement - New FA tournaments - Next season

Important news Managers!

This season's FA tournament will be the last one of its kind. New, more competitive, prestigious, and fun FA tournaments are coming.

Beginning with the next season (April 25th), new FA tournaments will be taking place! To participate, make sure to have at least 4 members in your Association before the in-game timer ends and the first tournament kicks off.

Keep an eye on our social media channels for more info soon.

In addition to that, for all new Managers FAs will be unlocked from the moment the Manager reaches training level 6.

At last. Please, do mind suggestions regarding the currencies.


I hope you could have found a way to hinder those tankers by the way. If not, vanish into the blue. lol

Hopefully the new FA would generate fairer draws.

Understandably, further adjustments and improvements will be needed upon managers’ feedback to any new system, so we will see how it goes.

At least there is a slight improvement in criteria of joining - training level 6 could be easily achieved by day 2, so all new players next season can also join in straightaway (instead of waiting for 3 full seasons for no obvious reasons).

I was wondering why associations became available for me. lol

They must have really lost the vast majority. They seem to lose more if they act with their current attitudes.

Most likely the absolute majority would still play FA matches, because it is generally competitive and fun as a group.

However, there is a general consensus that the draws are not fair, which draws a larger percentage and increasingly higher amount of managers deciding to tank for playing only association matches, hence very possibly hurting the income stream of Nordeus from in-app purchases when those managers now can tank for player quality (instead of buying the 8-9* offers, or even buying players in auctions to train with greens [in which TE could earn regular income via ads).

That’s my guestimation of why they finally make changes to FA after not doing anything for so long.

They should alter their currency policies first. lol I would not pay 145 tokens to a 21 years old recommended player. No one would. I will only buy 3 scouts from now forth, and that’s it. 5 of the skeleton and 3 from the youth.

They should give up with the attitude of tricking to earn from the easy way.

I like FA part since you can have direct interaction with your fellow members about strategy and everything else under the sun in the group chat.

I would be great if they added a FA chat to cover all 4 FAs for the draw along with the league and CL/SL+cup.

No don't start messing with the chat feature. That's why I love this game. Because they is no chat options apart from asso. I like that and I think it's a big appeal for alot of players

What will happen to the points we have now and will collect in the next two tournaments? Or at least will be useful when the new version standings/draws are being made, I guess? I’m sure we will learn more when we are closer to the end of the season but it would be good to know if working towards this season’s tournaments will mean anything or not.

At least the 100T should be safe with 1350 points.

If there is really going to a co-efficient ranking system, it may now be the best time for good and tactically sound managers (and that usually means a good trophy cabinet by solidly winning them instead of from tanking) to jump ship to join those associations with the same type of captains and VCs. Or else, it may become very difficult to join those associations when everyone is trying to do it by the end of next season. Just a thought (and not encouraging everyone to jump ship lol ;)).

Just check what they did lately. They ruined auction sistem, they ruined academy players, negotions ruined, we just have fancy graphic but actually nothing improved. They are still hiting us with updates in midseason. Premium is just like buy to win stuff. There are less adds than before 2-3 years (I remember when we had 100 adds a day, than 60, 50, 35+15 and now 25+15). Emblems and jerseys that you can make yourself have the same patterns and shapes like in 2012.

Assos are so broken, what ever we do we are playing against 18% overal and individually stronger teams. We tried assos 7*, opponents are 8-9*, 6* vs 8* and now 4* vs 6*.

It is not going to be anything better in the future, they are just going to find more ways how to milk money out of stupid boys dads pockets. PAY TO WIN game, I am playing for 9 years, in the begining I was buying tokens just to buy myself AC Milan set.

DONT HOPE FOR ANYTHING GOOD WITH NEW ASSO PLAN.

The “promotion zone” seems to be dependent on our relative position among other FAs, not our own points alone. Looks like instead of removing Top100, they are making it the main feature! Although I like the new academy system, I have a feeling that MNK Kaskada will be right about the new associations.

Until the developers introduce the functionality for fixing the strength of the teams at the beginning of the first draw, there will be no progress in the FA.
I mean there should be two different squads for FA and for other tournaments. The line-up for the FA is fixed at the first draw and does not change throughout the tournament. You cannot pump players, that is, their skills are fixed. You cannot add new players. They remain as they were at the start of the season throughout the season.
This is exactly what happens in real football. There are transfer windows at the beginning of the season and in the middle. Why not do this in the game?

It’s not for the regular players if the case you are pointing out is true then. It will be in favor of tankers again. lol

Bad feeling about this. No more free tokens from associations? No more points system, all back to zero?
Sigh, i knew protesting against nordeus would lead to nothing good

Remember changes have never been about giving us more resources, only a better user experience.
Played over 2 months, random draws which tankers can participate and win.
Prizes are blues and reds! Maybe 2-5 tokens if they are generous

Yep, probably they will give tokens (less than 100) to top3 of the whole “league” table. Just like King of kings events, only tankers will be able to get those rewards and won’t be worth the effort; at least that’s what I’m expecting.

I've just read bout new UCL format where they will increase number of teams from 32 to 36, no groupings but all 36 teams in 1 league, they will face 10 different teams every round with swiss format meaning 5-0-0 team will face 5-0-0 team.
and if this new FA association use the same format I'm all in.

I kinda like league format. I hate it when in semis I fought superteam where's the other semi is so easy I swear my FA can easily beat them 36-0 (which we did often times) so a semi & final format for weekend is kinda meh for me because I always pair with top100 in semi only to get 10bonus point by the end of FA, if semi is fair my team can easily finish 2nd if we didnt face top100 asso in semi.

Reward the 1-2-3-4 position based on points instead of KO format. the 25 & 10point difference often times make me mad have to fought until final week just to stay plat.

oh and I also hate facing same FA everyweek/month. swiss cheese please

in case you guys didnt know what swiss format is go google. basically it's used in chess, go, scrabble etc in order to determine clear winner with large number of competitors. almost fair to everyone..
5-0-0 team vs 5-0-0 team, 0-0-5 team vs 0-0-5 team. etc with the exception of 1st round being random matchup
