The assistant in the transfer tab recommended me a 19yo GK for 24 tokens. Does anyone know whether these players tend to be slow or fast trainers or can they be anything?
Hit and miss. I generally find they perform ok and are decent trainers. Not fast but then not slow either. I would say 24T for a 19yo is decent. Especially on Day 1. Depends how desperate you are for that position.

Desperate, but desperate for a fast trainer and nothing else. I'll find one on the market during the season for 1-5 tokens. Thanks for the infos!
I don't recommend. Your assistant can offer you maximum class 3 trainers who might be affordable if they will be a good performer.
What are "class 3" trainers?
Every player has different growth speed from class 7 to first class aka fastest trainer. Lower classes allow you develop your player at the same rate with spending less greens than higher classes. So all you can have medium speed players via Assistant offers.Originally Posted by Polotoed

"Very good" as in performs well or trains fast?
Player performance and growth speed are different things.
