    first negotiation offers coming in...

I bought a new player from the TL on tuesday, he was a rather good deal, a 20 year old MC, almost 6 stars, for 4 tokens. Now I trained him to one skill point away from 6*, and the offers are starting to come in. 5 star players (and even better 4 star players) are pretty rare on our TL, only about once a week there is a list full of 5* generated by nordeus and the bidding wars start.

Now Im getting offers of 3 and 6 tokens for him. I only got a 4* star team and good players are hard to come by on our server (I wanted to buy 2 scouts but there was only one decent scout available since the start of the season).

Is selling first squad players in negotiations a good idea? Once I allocate skill points he will be 6 stars and nobody on our server will be able to offer for him. At the moment I just think "keep him, players like that will be hard to get and he will be fine next season, too". Should I wait allocating skill points because some people might make decent offers, or just allocate skill points and get the most out of him? As far as Ive read here, negotiation offers are usually ridiculously low....

If you are a token buyer, then you usually sell for a profit, and you usually dont sell your best players.

I keep my best players for a few years, and only if they are fast trainers.

think about it: why sell your best player? If you get more tokens for him than you paid for him and you can replace him easily, then sell him, otherwise, keep him and win with him.

Selling trough negotiation is never 'ridiculously low' (from the auction youll have to set the starting-bid far below his value)
You receive AT LEAST his value in money, and besides that, you'll receive token(s) as well.....

But he's a good player, i should only sell him when there are more good players on the same position.

Im not a token buyer, just farming free offers when they are available. Since Im in the highest league of the server, I saved up tokens to buy scouts at the start of the season since 5* players are hard to get by on the TL. Hes not my best player but my 3rd best by 4 quality so Ill probably keep him, he would be hard to replace. On a normal day, a player like that would cost 10-20 tokens on the TL, if one is available at all. Only when there is a "5*-list" I can snag a player without SA or double position at a low token cost.

edit: ridiculously low is only compared to the cost of replacing a player of that quality on our server. Just saw a 3* free agent with SA going into the 10th bidding round.

I guess negotiations start getting interesting at lvl 6, when you can sell your 3* players as 5* players.

i would not ever sell my best players, i have a few on neg list and getting silly offer`s from 0 to 2 tokens so i make them wait to get tokens back, they should not insult me with daft offers. the best i`v got offered was 12 tokens but turned down straight away so they can have tokens back quicker after they never insulted me with the offer,

i can also add skill on to these players but am enjoying seeing what offers i get

I make more money selling them through the TM than negotiations. The 15T means nothing (hardly get any 5* player for that T amount on my server).
