no middle ground

Why is it every season in CL draw i end up with more teams a level above me in the group stages,once again i have 13 teams a level above me with 3 in my group alone with one team almost 40% above who i've just played and lost 9 v 0 yet again i'm going nowhere having looked through all the other group it seems less than half are at my level
If i manipulate i get fairly even spread of teams draw,if i don't i get this, no middle ground with group stages and wide range of teams at my level just token buyers with high level teams
