How do i beat this guy ?

I am trying to beat the guy on the left side. I lost 2-3 to him in the first round of champions league and i have no idea what i can do better. I was playing 4-3-3.
Any help would be appreciated

i am thinking of using 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 ? what do you think ? if these are good, what should be my team settings and my player mentalities ?
