Has only lost 1 cup in 39 seasons. I know players who didn't lose a single trophy on 50 seasons before sponsor came about so is the player who spends better when someone can do more with less

Nah. We do the best we can with our limited resources and time. Why compete with others when we are at the mercy of nordeus who can simply script matches and strengthen bot teams with 9 star master playstyle players with 1 percent Greys.
Only nordeus would want us to see such things and compete so we would spend. For all we know, such accounts might be managed by staff who have the power to win it all at zero cost

I have lots of players out of contract. Should I renew contract now, or wait until the first day of the new season?
The players will leave the team at the end of this season.
