Who plays the game without purchasing tokens, scout players etc?

I've been playing this game for over a month and am doing well without using my own money. It is frustrating that the only teams higher than me in the league are ones with like 15 scout players in them lol.

I don't know how any one can play the game like that as there is no skill involved, no challenge and I think the amount of money you would need to spend to have one of the best teams in top 11 is ludicrus! I don't think anyone should have to spend more than £30? the usual cost of a game, never mind hundereds... Also I am not keen on having to purchase players that come through your youth system, if they come through your youth system then surely they should be yours.

Is there any particular thread for players who don't spend any money???

I don't know about any particular thread for non token buyers my friend BUT - Keep playing without buying Tokens. I let myself get sucked into this half way through my 2cnd season because a friend Had two Token teams in my division and I wanted to have a fair shot at competing with him. This was the wost mistake I could have made with this game for many reasons that I won't go into here. Don't get frusterated by playing the Token teams my friend, just enjoy being a better football manager by building your team slowly and enjoy the occasional major upset on your way to the top !!

Cheers, oooo seems like a fair few people who have purchased tokens wish they hadn't. Why don't you start again without buying tokens mate?

I play 4 accounts. the main account with buying tokens won less Cups than others without scouts or buying tokens :D

Every game with in-app purchasing I have ever played and visited forums for, I've seen the usual moans about paying players, and players hailing themselves because they don't spend anything. I mean,play it whatever way suits you, why should it bother you what others do? The token players help keep the game online, if Nordeus weren't making anything from the game they'd give up supporting it, it would eventually be pulled. SO be thankful, in a way, to the token buyers, because they are helping to keep your game free ;)

And, yeah, good for you for doing it straight, but big deal eh? It's a management game! Real world managers deal in tonnes of money, they would never have the players they do have without a big budget. The top teams at least. Do you frown upon Real Madrid, because they spend more than other teams?

Anyway, I did the first season without spending, finished 5th. I had worked out training, and was already on the way to upgrading a number of my players. I sold on a good chunk of that original squad and bought in clever. I have bought 4 scouted players, just because I wanted to ... I am killing the other teams in my league 2 - and i'm sure they are thinking "huh, he'd never beat us so easy without those scouts" ... wrong! Even if I put out a squad without those scouts, I can beat the next best team 3-0, and I have done. I bought token players because the market has been awful for me, there are never any decent young players with any decent specialties for me to buy, so I use the scouting to get particular skills. This is more important to me than stars. Some of my original default squad players are as good as the ones I scouted.

I would have been waiting forever for a decent AMC with special abilities, for example. So I scouted one with shadow striker abilities. He's brill, and I'm happy with the purchase. I'm not so worried about this season, more building for the next, where I know it's going to get a lot tougher.

Actually we run an entire league playing with Tokens only from ingame sponsorship deal. It's called 35T Alternative league. You can check the thread here in the forum

But Tokens buyers face the same quality teams specially in CL and Cup.

I bought tokens in season 2, and tbh I wasted them being a noob.
Since then, I've enjoyed playing for free. It's annoying that I can't win the league this year because of a token junkie, there ought to be a special league for people like that, but the fight for second is keeping it interesting.

I buy some tokens each season. For the cost of £13, I can have enough tokens to buy either 2 scouts or several five star players from the transfer list, which quickly train up to be scouts. For my money this season, I now have 7 scouts and 8 five star players nearing scout quality. Now, £13 may sound a lot (not considering its over 4 weeks), but what else could I get for the same money? A few litres of petrol maybe? Three pints of beer? Two packs of cigarettes? So, the money I spend on the game, is only peanuts compared to what some others pay on their "luxury" items.

I don't care how I come across, I'm not the one who had to create a thread to have a moan or look for a bloody medal just because I never bought tokens! You didn't even read my full post, you just gave a dog ignorant response about thinking I support one of the big teams for glory. I don't, you were wrong, and also wrong if you think I spend a tonne on this game. I said, I bought 4 scouts - 4 ... and I can still beat any team in my league with all 4 rested, at least 3-0 ....

Where's MY medal??

i don't buy tokens, i rely on youth and investing as much as i can on green packs to train them .. beat tokens buyer 2nd in league 6-0 today :D

I'd never buy tokens for Top Eleven, I'd only earn them from free offers and surveys. I've earned over 150 Tokens in 12 days, still counting, even if it's getting a bit hard now since I've completed many surveys and well, the most of them didn't get credited, which means I have to send tons of support tickets.

You must not buy tokens to win in Top Eleven, that's what I like on this game.

My thoughts exactly. It would not be hard to start a new site where there is no extra tokens being bought. You make do with what you earn from the contracts...no surveys or token farming....everyone would be on the same level and it would come down to the NGE and management skills to decide the winner.

Sounds good but they won't keep the game going for free. ... it's a business

@KGaule: The OP was frustrated, rightfully so, and you turn this into a "be thankful for token buyers cuz they keep this site going" thread.

I am not thankful to any token buyer for supporting the Nordeus attitude of "pay for a better chance to win." They are preying on the win-at-all-costs mentality that can be exploited so easily on the internet.

To be fair to Nordeus, good on them for finding a way to scam money instead of using hard work to earn a living. This is the American Dream come to reality for them.

This is NOT real life, nor is it a close simulation to it. What you are basically saying is if you want to succeed, spend more money on this game or shut the hell up.

We all want a fair competition and we are all frustrated, Tommys and non-buyers alike, when we meet opponents that are of much higher quality. For the non-Tommy, it happens more frequently and THAT is what gets frustrating. You enter this game not knowing that the odds for you to win are heavily against you unless you spend tons of hours trying to get the right players on the cheap. So it either costs you money for tokens or time, both of which are valuable.

Nordeus tries to make it more fair for everyone, but really, they only care about the Tommys. It is very similar to VIP status. I guarantee if you spend a ton on tokens and send a support ticket, you will be at the head of the queue and it will be resolved to your satisfaction. That is the way business is these days and screw the little guy.

Lets face it: this game is not fair on MANY levels and if it were more fair, only the Tommys would suffer because they would lose the advantage they pay for. That is why you see many Tommys saying that there would be no site without them. Bull**** with a capital B.

True that almost all games online are there to make money, but there is a difference between fair and unfair, and making money and scamming/exploiting.

Look at this bejewelled journey-game-****-thing. I wanted the 1 token for adding it to FB. I played it for 24 levels to learn it and it is bejewelled on steroids, with the same setup as T11 where you can pay for things to make the game easier. BUT, they make it so that in later levels, you need these things to complete the levels. Sure, they give you the first couple of them for free, but then it starts to cost you, or you lose the game, or you dont score very high for each level and they make you seem a failure.

My point is this: T11 is made to be not fair in order for you to buy tokens so they can pay their bills. You can play it without tokens, but you will need to spend much time in the auction list or farming free tokens to win. If you do it without these two things, then you won the T11 lottery. Seriously, this is similar to an online casino, where the odds are stacked against you to win.

People who complain about the unfairness of this game dont need to be lectured. Either listen to their complaints or dont read the thread.

It's easy to play without buying tokens. The only thing I am doing to grab some more, is playing Matomy and TokenAds videos, which give me about 2 to 4 tokens per day at max. A tip for upgrading the best team in your competition is to do a lot of work in the transfer market, where I built a 4 star team in about a week and a half. Since then I got 10W 2D 0L. At the beginning of the season when I didn't start my transfer, I had a sheet of 4W 4D 2L. Now I have the best team in all competitions I am engaged (League + C1). I am not adding in this post all the work on the tactics done, looking the opponent's team, history, and even looking at his opponents tactics when they faced him to partly know what was working or not.

im in my 2nd season, i didnt buy tokens and never will cauze no matter how good your players and tactics are, scores are made by luck or dices... a 5 star team can lose against a 2 star team with no goalkeeper. as long the whole game is build on only making money with tokens by reducing fun and quality on the game itself noone should spend money on this

9th season not a penny spent.only lost the league once and done pretty well every where else.
Will say LC has been difficult since the change but i dont moan like lvl 4 and below anymore sussed its just a game.
