Question: Why would someone have a 115 team and lower it to 87 before the game?

Does anyone have a clue as to why another manager would lower his team percentage from 115 to 87 to play me with a 119 team? What would the purpose be except to lose on purpose? Between the games, I should win and Nordeus makes me lose and the ones that I win in this fashion I cannot find satisfaction in any of this. It's perplexing. Does anyone have some feedback?

It is on the league matches right? Usually they want to tanking (not promote in the league), so their team stat still the same and get stronger next season. Thats why its so many 8 stars up players...
