this is a good formation. but normally, you should play based on your opponent's formation. your formation is not good if your opponent is using aml/amr. if aml/amr, you should use dml/dmr or dl/dr. maybe u can also use arrow down on ml/mr to counter this.Quote:

when i was in level 1/2, this is my formation: 3-1-4-2 v. i changed it to 4 defenders when i lost in cl because one of dc got red carded. this caused my formation to be illegal which resulted in losing possession. this formation is still good if you are watching the game. in the cl match, i was not unfortunately.

I was wondering how the game engine would play out this formation, would the MC,s move out wide to give width, or rely on the DL/DR getting forward, I imagine he is playing on the counter with long passing and zonal.
4-4-1-1, zonal, attacking if opposition level is on par or lower & i'm at home
4-4-1-1, zonal, defending if opposition level is higher & for select cl & league games to inform teams
I deploy a variety of fomations, since I have a large versatility in my players. My most common formations would be a 4-1-4-1, 3-1-4-2, 3-2-2-2-1 (DC DC DC DML DMR MC MC AML AMR ST), 3-5-2 V or 4-5-1 V, 3-3-2-2-1, or 3-3-2-2-2. I like to play with attacking wingers and mostly lone strikers.
