New Season - Same old s***!

I finished 3rd last season in a league where there were 2 teams @ 200%+. These 2 teams were also in my cup competition last season. Neither team was supported by their manager during any of their games and both had exactly the same formation for every game.

These 2 teams are still 200%+ even after, presumably, losing 20% for also being promoted. And they are both in my cup and champions league competitions.So, without a ball being kicked, I already know I cannot win anything.

These teams (and no doubt there are many others) have probably had lots of money spent on them (I'm talking about proper money here - not the useless money that is part of this game) and I have no issue with people who want to spend money or who have money to spend.

Or perhaps they are "bot" teams that are planted by Nordeus (or whoever owns Nordeus these days), here and there, to encourage managers to spend money in order to try and catch up? 🤔

I guess if I owned the company, and didn't give a toss about my customers, this would be my business model also - similar in many ways to betting companies I suppose. Its the same addictions that the company are attempting to engender in their target audience - which is us unfortunately - as in, you too could have the best team in the league, you too could have the top goalscorer in the league, you too could have champions league glory and you too could get to the end of Draw Frenzy - all you have to do is spend money.

Except that you won't - because the game is actually rigged in such a way that what may appear to be possible is not actually possible at all. A "bot" will appear, that is impossible to defeat, and this will happen ad infinitum.

Such a shame really because I actually really like this game. I have good people in my association, who are active, and I have learned some interesting French swear words. They even allow me to message in English occasionally! In other words - genuine humans.

I will give this 1 more season - but if nothing has changed by the end of it then I'm gone. I can't see the point of it anymore.

For info Nordeus - I've done Draw Frenzy twice this season, got 13M of useless currency in round 1 and a red card in round 2, I won't be doing it again because it's insulting.

I'm actively trying to get knocked out of the cup but my opposition is so weak that even my reserves are battering them - why? Because I don't need the useless currency and I can't win it anyway because of the "bot" teams inserted into the competition who I will ultimately meet.

I was going to try and get knocked out at group stage of CL but get 3rd for Super Cup qualification but I see you have a "bot" in that competition also.

To summarise, if you beat my team fair and square, I'll say well done and I'll move on to my next game. But the matching is not even close to fair. I don't want to beat teams 11-0 and nor do I want to be beat 11-0. At the moment, this is all I am being offered.

I do the same i try and get knocked out of the cups early its pointless playing just for 'money' that is pointless and gets you nothing

I am just waiting til day 3 when theleague starts to see how many 'pay to win' players i am grouped with and i might even just delete it if i am paired agaisnt a lot. Last season some dude was undefeated all season with 189 goals for and 5 agaisnt

It happens to me often, I give up on the World Cup and the Champions League because there's always a team that's 50, 60, 70% stronger. There's no way to compete. Who is this fun for?

Wow that is ridiculous. Nordeus need to improve the matching algorithm. Current setup is only discouraging players. They need to understand that the game cannot live only with money spenders, you also need the support of countless dedicated players who spend a lot of their time into it.

My league has now been drawn. Same two 200% teams plus an 81% team that has 4 players at 1% and 7 between 163% and 200%+. The rest of the teams are fairly evenly balanced so it looks like we are all playing for 4th spot.

The reward for 4th, of course, will be the loss of a multiplier for our Football Associations and the opportunity to get beat by one of these 3 teams in next seasons Champions League. Personally, I'm not seeing the incentive here.

Perhaps it might be more fun to try and lose for a couple of seasons - but then I might end up being that team that is way superior to all the other teams in my new league? And I wouldn't have had to spend any money to achieve this!

BUT, I don't want to beat teams 11-0 every day! There is no fun in this. It seems that everything about this game's matching methodology is flawed and Nordeus will not be content until they have only new players playing the game where these issues are not so recognisable.

And whilst I'm on moaning anyway, Special Sponsor tasks! Buy 3 players who are 20 or younger who have minimum 80% quality. Have you seen the auctions when such a player is available? They are absolutely mental! An 80% player going for 40+ tokens and hundreds of millions! Why? When one can just spend 25 tokens to move to the next milestone and you won't be stuck with a useless 20 year old that you didn't want in the first place.

Dear friend when I read your post I thought I was reading something I posted so much so that I had to look twice to who posted it. I hear you 100%. it's the same for many of us, I can attest to that myself. Identical problems myself. THEY DO NOT CARE ONE BIT! This season although it seems that I am in a better league and yet in the cup for example I had a team at 54% in the first stage, then I went to look as to who would be my next opponent, and as usual, low and behold I am facing a team that I know I will not be able to beat. I cannot seem to get past the first stage in this competition. The same thing happens in SL and CL I win the group all the time and the next team boots out because they are already too strong to beat. So these competitions become redundant and useless to be in. I already know, in fact, I noticed that the team that ends up winning is almost always the one I have to face after the first stage or group, I am either the unluckiest person that I always end up getting the teams that always beat me and go on winning the competition or there is something more sinister going on. It seems impossible that this is all and always coincidental. I have won 3 leagues in the past, 2 CL and 2 Super Cups, NEVER won the cup or SL. something changed in the game and made it impossible for me to advance and or win these competitions. Anyway, I feel the way you do 100% They have become greedy SB that rip us off in many ways, I wrote a post today about the other ways I noticed they have started ripping us off this season, in a much subtler way. I do not know if you noticed it. Players on fire stay on a lot less time than before, they do not set a player on fire as easily as they used to. They are causing us to spend more energy than ever to get to the next training bonus % they have made it harder for players to level up. Amazing really. Without counting all the inconsistencies in the play mode players do not respond properly to their skill sets. It's a racket, my friend. It's the organized crime of football games. They are thieves, give us little or nothing, and charge us mega dollars and tokens for stuff, way overpriced. For 47 tokens we should get a loaner for the season not three day
