What is the advantage of upgrading the seating capacity beyond 157,000? Makes no difference to the possession %, it's still 5% so long as it's full whatever the capacity so I can only see it being for financial reasons. I have a major issue with this though.

157,000 fans at my current ticket price of $24 = $3,768,000 per home match.

Let's say I upgrade to the pro arena which is 183,000. That's 16,000 more fans per match. The upgrade costs $268,000,000.

So with 183,000 x $24 I'm getting $4,392,000 per home match. That's an increase in revenue of $624,000 per home game.

$268,000,000 / $624,000 is 429.48 league games till I break even on the upgrade cost. I play 13 league games per season and let's say 7 in other competitions just to give us a round figure of 20 games a season. That's over 21 seasons before I get my money back on the stadium cost before I even start making any profit.

Where is the value in that? Shouldn't everyone just save their money and spend it on players instead?

When you go up a few more levels you will notice that you can sell 260,000 seats for $50+ every home game, netting you $13M+ each home game, plus player wages continue to rise meaning its more than worth maxing out your stadium capacity.
