can't make my mind up on formation

I'm 1-0 down in champions league and I'm playing at home in 2nd leg.
He plays 4-5-1v and I looked on counter formations that say 3-5-2 or 3-5-2v.
My 2 ST are struggling to score when they play together. I'm thinking this-

    -----DC-----DC-----DC-----
    ------------DMC------------
    -----MC----MC-----MC-----
    AMR--------------------AML
    ------------ST--------------

    Attacking, whole pitch, hard tackling.
Blue arrows on DC and red arrows on AMR/AML.

    Thoughts..

    NO HARD TACKLING!

and I probably would have gone 4-2-3-1 with counter attacks, but I think you'll be fine.

I use the 4-5-1v so I could give you an insight to the strengths and weaknesses.

I normally struggle against teams who play 3 in the centre as they out number my 2 CM's.
Playing an attacking mid against the 4-5-1v is more or less useless.
The 4-5-1v is a wing based formation but also leaves itself vulnerable to wing based attacks.

If I were you, I would probably consider 4-3n-2w-1 or 3-5-2v depending on the strength of your attack and defence.

    Hope this helps.

    Very happy, I won 4-1 :0)
I went 3-0 up and he pushed a couple players up with his ST and I got a 4th. He then pulled 1 back so I went 4-5-1 defensive, long passing to see the game out.
Thanks to el pistolero for the
    4-3-2w-1 formation.

    Sweeper.

    Another happy customer.

Luckily for you I'm not a bitter Liverpool fan and I know the 4-5-1v very well so had good advice haha.

    Congratulations Sweeper

You need 2 goals and who is better offensively than STs?

3-2-2-2-1 butterfly otherwise as it is one I win vs 4-5-1V
