Attachment 7219Attachment 7220Just lost 1st leg of champs league 1-2, my Q is 74 and their's is 72 and my orders were attacking, mixed, own half, normal, mixed, zonal, counter. they played 4-3W-1-2 and I played 4-5-1V but after going 2 down early changed to 3W-1-2N-3-1 and changed again to 3W-1-1-3-2 and unchecked counter. So how should I set up for return leg?
I narrowly lost to 4-3w-1-2 using 4-5-1v and he had 6 star players as he was a Level above me.
Don't quote me on this but if I ever come across this formation again, I'd want to go with 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond.
Logic.
I suppose that would give me more firepower whilst cutting down my width!
How about 3-5-2v formation?

Just bad luck. You had twice as many shots, twice as many on target, and just didn't connect. Only weird thing is the possession - you should have had 60%+ ...
I'm inclined the way DV8R is .. except I'd go with an AMC instead of a second striker, and I'd attack the middle.
4-3W-1-2 is the most overpowered formation in T11, alongside 4-3W-3.
The 3N-1-3W-1-2 is getting quite common. You see it every season, token buyers using the same formation as the next guy.
I tried 4-3W-1-2 in the past and thought it was good at first, but then it turned terrible for me and haven't used it since.Quote:

Also, don't play 3W - play 3N since he has 2xST + 1AMC that you need to mark and take care of... The 3W is useless, even if he plays with ML+MR since he is focusing his attacks through the middle..

Progress report I went 4-1-3N-2 thru the middle and won 1-0 but alas needed 2-0 so will be out on away goals wish I had of gone this way in 1st leg but you live and learn!
Unlucky mate. Take it as experience.
Yeah will use that next time I come up against that formation.
