Do not buy high priced players from normal name clubs ... they are rubbish .... just players released from higher level clubs .....

Well, they are rubbish at training, I grant you. But often they play quite well, and if you get them scraping 5 star you get a couple good seasons out of them.
I always buy my youth if they will fit on my team, even on my farming (no buying) teams, because they are fast trainers and will hold their level of Q with a few extra greens here and there. I have been very happy with most of my purchased youths.
