Passing vs a certain flank

Hello top eleven players,

I have just read the tip that you should always pass through the flank that their weakest player is on. My question is how do I view this?

For example, when I click their team and I notice their left defender is the weakest link. Should I view it from my team, or theirs? In other words, if their left defender sucks, do I press attack left flank (their view) or attack right flank (my view)?
