Player Skill Level Won't Increase

Hi all,

New to the forum, just a quick question I have a goalkeeper aged 20 and his skill level is 26 4 stars. I play him every game and he keeps getting training points to increase his skill but recently I have noticed that I want to increase his defence skill but the option is greyed out and wont let me assign training points to this section I can only apply them to either attack or physical or mental.

Does any one know why this happens and if there is a way round it?

If there is a gap of 20 between the defence and either attack or physical/mental, then it will not allow you to increase that particualar area further. To do that, you will need to use your skill points in either the attack or physical/mental parts first.

Before I add skill points, I usually grab a calculator and find an actual average...
