3-2-2-2-1 Butterfly:
Three DC's more than enough for his loan ST, DML/DMR block his AMR/AML leaving his attack with the AMC your extra DC's should cope with him. Two MC's to combat his own, leaving you with ALR/AML and a ST to take his flat back four on.
You could put up arrows on the centre DC which would force the AMC to track him when you counter attack and down arrows on the other two to cover any of his own counters, which he is sure to be playing with that formation
Playing Defending mentality with force counter down the flanks and own half, zonal, passing mixed or long, should do the trick very nicely.
