bidding on players

This morning I was bidding on a player. I was putting my bids on with like about 3 seconds to spare and always getting thru.
But everytime my bid went thru, another bid from the same player was beating me and was always winning the round.
It was like automatic on the other player. It went to 18 rounds and by then I just gave up.

The question is, did this player have some sort of cheat or is there some sort of program like sniper on ebay where you always get the last bid.

No, they're bidding in the last second. It is sniping but they aren't using a program. You just need to have a good connection otherwise your bid won't go through.

o, they probably were just a little faster than you. Also keep in mind there will be minor lag in the ping between you the server and him.

Aye...figured that out last season. If you get to bid on rush hour times (20h - 24h) you'll have a lot of bid races and "snipers".

I counter that and go for auctions early in the morning. (less traffic )
