Losing against weaker team :/

I had cl match my qual. 42,7 and his 40,1

but my first 11main player qual. is 44,3 and his 41,9. and i am league 5.

he was playing with narrow diamond 4-1-2-1-2 and I dc,dc,dc ml,mc,mc,mr , amc, st,st , so its 3-4-1-2

It was my home match, and i lost 1-3 , he scored first then me, and he did the rest. ball posession was 60% to me and every player played around 7-8 ratings.

Opponent wasnt watching the match so there was only me and i had 13% posession ( nice got only 60)

My every player had red arrow except goalkeeper,

passing - whole pitch, pressing - whole pitch, extra attacking, offside traps, counterattack, tackling -normal, guarding -pitch

Morality were almost 100 at everyone and rest was between 60-80 at everyone.

I have guest match left and i need to win because its weaker team, it makes no sense if reason is "weaker teams r able to win better teams",, how this can be possible all the time? I lose always when i am better with 5-1quality.

But if i play against better team with 1-5qual, i allways lose hard, it makes no sense, why i lose if others win when they are better, seriously always.

It feels so bad, i have donated about 30euro to this game to get the most best players to my team to help my team to victory, but no, its not ****ing helping me in anything, it seems that i can do better with weaker team..

What was wrong.. I know he had weak flanks and "attacking tactic", but still it weird and ****, what to do ..

what to do.. cant do the spoken " V-style" ,

should i buy one dmc more to use same narrow diamond but with better players, so it would be 100% win?

Your problem is here...

My every player had red arrow except goalkeeper,

passing - whole pitch, pressing - whole pitch, extra attacking, offside traps, counterattack, tackling -normal, guarding -pitch

Your players were too attacking and your opponent was playing defensive counter attack tactics, meaning you were always caught out on the break.

Well he's team is only 2 points worse than yours, and 3-4-1-2 isn't the best choice vs the narrow diamond, I think to play against the narrow diamond you need a DMC and 4 at the back to defend from his 2 strikers, since the 4-5-1 V is not an option giving your playing squad, your options are looking like 4-1-4-1, 4-1-3N-2 or matching him with the narrow diamond yourself, Also your team orders were off, you don't need to play ultra attacking and you certainly don't need to press the whole pitch. Also using Red Arrows on every player is not a good idea, I would only put arrows on 3/4 players max.

If it was me with that squad I'd play:

The narrow diamond has no width to attack your rear flank, so DL/DR are not needed your MR/ML stop his DL/DR attacking down the flanks on the counter, you have his centre matched MOM with one spare. His DMC is going to get dragged away from the centre to stop your MR/ML getting 1 v 1 with his Defenders as he is most certainly using Zonal.
Your motivated MR/ML attack his flank as he has no DMR/DML and feed balls into your strikers.


Mentality normal, Own half, Focus Both flanks, Tackling normal, Mixed passing, Marking Zonal, NO off side No force counter.

You could even play Defensive with force counter hitting him on the break.

Then again the game engines mind may already made up.

Normally I have won many games with those tactics, i have won 4 league atm with that tactics and red arrwos, i have only changed formations but tactics have been same for this moment.

Sometimes i have tried to change things but it looks like that tactics doesnt effect or change nothing, like they doenst work, like settings r just for fun there, so i dont very believe to tactic options

i do not have a static formation ... for ex. today i`m playing 3-4-3 because i play against a 343 with dml/dmr ... i keep changing the formation depend of what team i fight with

It appears to me that he was winning all the balls in the midfield area with having 4 in the midfield line + AMC and you left yourself exposed at the back. Your going to need a lot of luck to pull this one back, Have you thought about the 4-5-1 V-Style or 4-1-4-1 with red arrows on the ML/MR? Or possibly trying to out number him in midfield by the 3-2-2-2-1 Butterfly?

Sometimes All-Out attack isn't the answer, but whatever you do, hes going to surely be playing counter attack, he's got the 3-0 lead and doesn't need to take risks, Chances are your going to need to play Normal Mentality with Long Balls, Pressing: Own Half, Zonal Marking, Normal Tackling and Attacking the flanks.
