Confused, as i can only set tackling orders easy ,normal or hard prior to game start and unable to change orders once started. Plus i have a 21 man squad and will only show side im playing right before kick off, so how would anyone know if i was stronger or weaker ?

What are you playing on, PC or some mobile device? No matter what device you use, there should be a green button in the bottom right corner during the match, for you to adjust formations, tactics and orders. If you click on your next match opponents in the centre of the top part of the screen at any time, you will be directed to their profile, where you can see their general info, squad, league standings, stadium and trophy case.
