    Tactics against aggressive 3-2-3-2

League Opponent formation, and 2pts ahead in quality.

    --ST--ST--
    AML--AMC--AMR
    ----MC---MC---
    -----------------
    ----DC-DC-DC---

I'm planning to go 3-2-2-2-1 butterfly

    ----ST-----
    AML-----AMR
    ----MC--MC--
    DML--------DMR
    ----DC-DC-DC

Defensive mentality, down both flanks, press own half, tackle hard, long passing, zonal marking

turn on force counterattacks. hoping that should leave his almost whole team stranded while my striker runs to his 3 DCs.

his 2 strikers and attacking MFs take up positions 2,3,4,5 on the top striker's list. MY STRIKER is the top striker and 10 goals ahead of number 2 kekeke so I'm hedging my bets on him to dribble around and nutmeg them all.

wats my chances of a win? is the above a good idea?

    You're better off using a 3-3-3-1 or 3-3-2-1-1

    -------ST-----
    ----------------
    --MC--MC--MC--
    DML---DMC----DMR
    --DC--DC--DC---

    or

    ------ST------
    -----AMC-----
    ----MC-MC-----
    DML--DMC---DMR
    ---DC-DC-DC-----

    Play defensive..

To be honest, when I face an opponent with higher quality than mine and attacking formation, I play hard attacking with a very attacking formation because he hasn't got defenders. I won cup title in that way facing one 5pts in quality higher than me. I dominated that match impressevely and won 2-0

I actually played 3-3-2-1-1, and had a draw. I played hard tackling with long ball and counterattacks on. I actually scored 1 goal early on, but the the sucker sneaked in a goal in the last 5mins after one of my DCs had a red card for being a uber mean tackler.

    so DRAW 1-1.

maybe I'll give Jad's idea a try next time.
