How to beat 4-2-1-1-2?
Hello,
I have done the search but there is nothing on this formation that I can find.
--------ST-------ST----------
------------AMC--------------
-------------MC--------------
------DMC---------DMC-------
DL---- ----DC--DC---------DR
He had a ton of yellow cards, almost all of his players has one so I would assume that he is hard tackling, playing men out of position, or he is not giving skill points evenly. But that is besides the point and can only help me at the end of the day.
I am playing away and I was thinking of a 3-1-2N-2W-2 attacking with arrows on AML/AMR and DMC and passing down the flanks.
---------ST-------ST----------
-AML(UP)--------------AMR(UP)
----------MC-----MC----------
------------DMC(UP)-----------
---------DC--DC--DC----------
OR...4-1-3W-2 attacking with arrows on DL/DR, ML/MR and DMC and passing down the flanks.
---------ST-------ST----------
-------------------------------
---ML(UP)----MC-------MR(UP)-
-------------DMC(UP)----------
--DL(UP)---DC----DC----DR(UP)-
The counter formation thread suggests for 4-2(DMC)-1-2(AML/AMR)-1 to use 5-2MC-2(AML/AMR)-1 but I am reluctant to go 5-4-1 with a defensive formation vs a defensive formation.
Any ideas?

FYI, I went with the 3-5-2 V as mentioned above and won 0-4.

Which tactics did you use? I am playing Vs Same Formation in 2 days, he is 1st and we have same amount of points, so i have to win this. He seems unbeatable, got 0 goals, shot 26, so i will try your 3-5-2v, so thanks for your update.

Thanks a lot for your tactics. I used your first tactic as you said, in the first match, I lost 2-0 . in the second match I used your tactics and 2-0 win and in extra minutes, finished 2-0. at penalties, I win 3-1 and I qualified for the play offs.

I used 3-1-2-2-2 and won 1-4. My opponent was better by 0.6. Used atacking, down both flanks, no counter and no offside trap.
