Not a bad tactic though to get 2 same level acounts and fake a bidding war on FA to scare people of. Or just do the same thing in normal transfers to scare others of. If I see 2 people bidding next to me a lot of times I back off.

Yes, especially if the other users continue to bid. The value will increase, and the winner may end up paying more than the player's market value. I don't see this will work against some users. I have faced some bidders that did not hesitate to go in the higher knockout rounds.
By the way. I don't think they are the same person; they are most likely husband and wife or partners. Why did both bid for the same player? An explanation could be that one is teasing the other.
